Welcome Baby Katherine

Welcome Baby Katherine

More than fourteen years ago I heard for the first time that I was going to be a father. To a boy. I think dads secretly long to hear those words, “Your. Son.” Call it tradition, call it Heir, call it what you want.

The same story happened two years later. Two sons now, I was well on my way towards a cricket team.

I feel for a time there I didn’t think I would have any more children. When we relocated back to Australia in 2007 we decided to try again, once more a bouncy boy came along.

Finally, accidentally, in late 2013 a baby girl was born. This is Katherine Lee – a precious name that had been picked out in mid 1999. We just never thought we’d ever get to use it.

Katherine is beautiful. Katherine is healthy. Katherine is 3.51kg and 50cm in length – maintaining the trend that each baby has been slightly smaller than the last.
