Day in the mountains

Day in the mountains

Today I spent the day in the Pagosa Springs Colorado and surrounding mountains. Friends of mine, Rick and Jaimee Callies, invited me to spend the day with them. Jaimee had a softball tournament to play in, which had an early game and a late game.

In the hours in the middle, we spent the day visiting some pretty awesome lookouts, hideaways and a lake. We also did a little hiking to get some good views.

After we came back down, we spent a few hours in the hot springs. Pagosa Springs is known for its natural hot springs. We spent some time in some man made hot springs, afterwards floating down a creek that ran beside the hot springs. The creek actually had spots where natural springs occurred.

Here are my photo’s of my first real Colorado Mountain experience. Hope you enjoy!
