Cricket – LA Open – I’ll be playing

This coming weekend I am fortunate and honoured to be participating in the LA Open 20/20 Cricket Cup being played in Los Angeles, California. It is considered the premier cricketing tournament in the USA and will have well known first class and international participants. Check it out: I might get to face Curtly Ambrose. I may bowl to Richie Richardson, Kaluwitharara or India’s ex-captain Mohammed Azharuddin. I am highly excited and look forward to learning a great deal over the course of the long weekend. Cricinfo has an article about the tournament here: http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/usa/content/story/250853.html

I will be playing for the Western Terminators and our pool play matchup has us playing:

– Washington DC
– Air India (Traveling with at least 11 first class players)
– Trinidad & Tobago (Couple ex-test players, first class and WI U-19, including Ricardo Powell!)

We’ll be playing at Woodley Park which is a set of 4 cricket grounds Cricinfo lists as a first class location.

And wish me luck!
