Central Coast Getaway
Louise and I have just enjoyed an action packed weekend away from Sydney, up on the Central Coast.
We started at the loveliest little AirBnB in Avoca Beach, NSW (the Super Host kind, of course). It’s those little extra touches that make all the difference in your holiday, such as the room delivered fresh breakfast sourced from local small business.
I’ll back up a minute.
We discovered this place (and Avoca in general) because we stumbled upon Infamous, Cabaret Circus – which is a wee bit naughty; who were presently performing in Terrigal, NSW. The long weekend getaway was shaped around the circus.
The circus itself? Fabulous! The surprises and shocks were a plenty and that is before you consider the acrobatics and the skill involved. Warning! If you are offended by nudity, (what’s wrong with you?) this show isn’t for you.
The other major event Louise and I planned was to attend Julie Goodwin’s Cooking School. Julie was a winner of Master Chef Australia and offers courses at Julie’s Place in Terrigal, NSW. Highly professional, collaborative and fun – I would recommend this for any couple!
The remainder of the time we took in movie at the boutique, family run cinema Avoca Beach Picture Theatre; grazed on cheese and wine at Avoca Surf House and enjoyed a few hikes in this glorious part of the world!
