![]() I’m going to try and post some fun tech gadgets I’ve played with or am playing with recently and give a little write-up of each. Lately I’ve been a bit more obsessed than normal with trying to get all the stuff I like to look at on one page. This could be via iGoogle, MyYahoo! or whatever. I’ve also been doing some web work for my cricket club and am back in that mode of making sure the site looks the same cross-browser.

The petrol price debate

Outside right now it is $4.11 a gallon We are paying $5.67 a gallon in Australia if it’s $1.50 a liter, which is roughly what it’s been hovering around. If the US dollar is what it is now then yes, we pay a lot more in Australia.

Number Three

![]() We’ve been planning to have a third child, Jenifer researched quite heavily what it takes to have a girl since we have two boys. I won’t go into the details because we don’t even know that it worked and it’s a bit TMI I reckon. The boys are clearly excited as they blurted it to our neighbours across the street before we could let them know. “My mum is pregnant!”

Funny moment of the day

![]() Funny is when Visual Studio crashes and upon detecting that something went wrong asks me if I want to launch Visual Studio to debug the problem I just had… For those of you not in the know its Microsoft’s flagship software development product for computer programmers. It centers on an integrated development environment which lets programmers create standalone applications, web sites, web applications, and web services that run on any platforms supported by Microsoft’s .NET Framework (for all versions after 6). Well so says Wikipedia.
