Had a World of Warcraft night last Friday night; myself, the two boys, two brothers-in-law and one of their friends. Liam played his gameboy and fell asleep at about 10 while the rest of us went into the 2am realm. Nevan stayed awake which really surprised me; since this was part of a birthday gift to one of the in-laws, and it being a Friday night, I didn’t mind the extra late male bonding time between us all.
Fun times were had by all five as we created each of the following, in no particular order: Nightelf Rogue, Nightelf Priest, Nightelf Warlock, Drenai Shaman and a Drenai Paladin. We grouped together, even at level 1, and went about the realm of Teldrassil questing together. At times it was quite funny to see other players look at us (yes you can tell when they look at you) and puzzle as a group of 5 players, each with similar names (we did this on purpose) invaded their land.
Furthermore, I have photo’s of the event. Check it out. I may look intoxicated but I really struggle with camera’s flashes. That’s honesty.

Where are you playing? Not the realm, but the real world location. It looks like you’ve invaded an office somewhere. Nothing like the Doom II and Quake LAN Deathmatches the brothers-in-law and I used to have many moons ago in my parents’ family room.

Awesome,
for 2 years, me and my 3 boys played EQ (and EQ2) together.
No other family on the block could respond to the question “what your family do over the weekend?”
“Well, we slew this massive dragon, crawled through a dungeon questing for a new sword, got drunk at the local tavern and saved a group of adventures in over their head”
It was awesome
